How ROI projections are calculated for a prospective store
Monthly revenue is built from daily traffic inputs, scaled by reference month and seasonality:
Daily Traffic[M] = Entered Daily ร (Season[M] รท Season[Ref])
Monthly Buyers = Daily Traffic[M] ร Entry Conv. ร Purch. Conv. ร 30
Monthly Revenue = Monthly Buyers ร Avg Bill ร Bill Season[M]
Two separate seasonal patterns are applied:
Traffic Seasonality โ based on Thailand tourism patterns. Weights sum to 100%. Each month's traffic = Base ร Weight ร 12.
Avg Bill Seasonality โ derived from historical monthly bill data (829, 764, 694, 655, 592, 607, 647, 638, 764, 756, 780, 810). Each value divided by the annual average (711 THB) gives a coefficient.
Both traffic and bill seasonality are applied independently, creating compound seasonal effects.
To recover investment, additional profit from the Immersion Room must cover CAPEX + cumulative OPEX:
Growth % = Total Investment รท Total Baseline Profit
* Values update automatically when you change parameters above.
For each month, we track cumulative cash flow:
Cumulative = โCAPEX + ฮฃ (Add. Profit โ OPEX)
This is a prospective store projection โ all baseline revenues are estimated from manual inputs (daily traffic with reference month, conversions, avg bill) with dual seasonal adjustments. The Immersion Room needs to generate additional revenue growth on top of this baseline. Extra revenue, after deducting product costs and OPEX, creates net profit that pays back the CAPEX investment over the target period.
